Inkwell Creative Services was established in 1994 in Syracuse, NY, by Caroline K. Reff to provide copywriting and editing to clients, large and small. While copywriting is her specialty, Reff also brings 20 years of public relations know-how to her work and has extensive experience in areas of health care, education, alumni relations, technology and more.

After graduating from Boston College with a dual degree in English and communications, Reff began her career as a special sections editor with Manlius Publishing Corp. in Fayetteville, NY. Later, Reff took a position at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, NY, where she soon became the assistant director of community relations and gained valuable experience in media relations, publications and special events planning. She also worked as the marketing director for Holy Family Church, the largest parish in the Syracuse Roman Catholic Diocese, and its affiliated elementary school.

In 1994, Reff founded Inkwell Creative Services, which today is a thriving business focusing on copywriting and complemented by her experience in the public relations field. In 2008, Reff also joined the faculty at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications as an adjunct instructor teaching writing in the Public Relations Department.

Inkwell Creative Services’ clients range from small businesses and non-profits to universities and international corporations with a variety of marketing needs, including press releases, web copy, annual reports, feature stories, newsletters, brochures and other marketing materials.
